Story
Kiangai Wet Mill is located in the Kirinyaga region of Nyeri County, Central Kenya, in a producing area spanning high altitudes of 1,700-1,800m. Approximately 900 small-scale farmers belonging to the Kibirigwi Farmers' Cooperative bring their ripe cherries, which undergo careful selection and processing. After pulping, the cherries go through density sorting and fermentation, followed by slow drying on African beds. The collaboration between local farmers and the wet mill produces clean, high-quality Kenyan coffee.
