Flavor Taste

Roasted to a medium-dark profile, the cup is wrapped in a rich, brown sugar–like sweetness that gives the coffee a deep and comforting character. Soft nutty notes reminiscent of nougat are layered with a gentle hint of orange, adding a light citrus nuance that lifts the sweetness. The acidity is mild and rounded, and the mouthfeel is smooth and well-rounded. Sweetness, fruit character, and body come together in balance, resulting in a calm and well-structured cup.

Story

The Buenos Aires Group was founded by the Bajadales family, who migrated from Honduras to Nicaragua. After acquiring land in their new home, they gradually expanded their holdings, developing a multi-estate operation. At the heart of their management philosophy is the value of “family,” with ongoing investments not only in production but also in the living conditions and infrastructure for those working on the farms.
Monte Livano, a new estate acquired in 2017, sits at one of the higher altitudes in Nicaragua and features volcanic soils rich in minerals.
Harvested cherries are transported to the group’s own wet mill for washed processing and managed by lot. After drying, each lot undergoes cupping evaluation to ensure quality selection.

A word from the online shop manager

Although roasted to a medium-dark profile, the flavor emphasizes rich body rather than bitterness. Even those who don’t usually drink dark coffee can enjoy it easily.
Of course, it’s also recommended for those who love a deeper, more robust cup!
It’s perfectly suited as a morning cup, offering a smooth and balanced taste.

Best Before

Best enjoyed within three months of the roast date. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and consume promptly.

The bag may appear puffed due to gases released by the coffee beans, but this does not affect quality—enjoy as is.
