The difference between milk brew and cafe au lait
Cafe au Lait is another drink made with coffee and milk that can be easily made at home.
Cafe au Lait is a drink made by diluting strong coffee with hot water and milk.
In contrast, milk brew extracts the coffee ingredients using only cold milk, without using hot water.
By using only milk, you can enjoy the rich, full-bodied sweetness of the milk.
Milk Brew Recipe
We'll show you how to make an easy and delicious milk brew using REC COFFEE's cold brew coffee bags.
What you need
- REC COFFEE cold brew coffee bag: 1 bag (45g)
- Milk: 540ml
- Bottle: 600ml or more
1. Place one cold brew coffee bag into the storage bottle.
2. Pour in 540ml of milk.
3. Chill in the refrigerator for 3 to 6 hours.

If you brew it for more than 6 hours, the coffee will start to have off-flavors and the balance with the milk will be disrupted, so please brew it within 3 to 6 hours and adjust to your preferred taste.
4. Remove the coffee bag using tongs.
5. Mix lightly to achieve a uniform consistency and it's done!
It's cold, so please enjoy it as is without adding ice.
