Hacienda Copey

Hacienda Copey
Hacienda Copey was established in 2011 in Copey Canyon in the Tarrazu region. Located at an altitude of 1,840m to 2,195m, the farm occupies 86.3 hectares of land. The diverse vegetation that forms the vast forests creates fertile soil, creating a unique ecosystem with a low-temperature microclimate with large temperature differences. The coffee grown in this wonderful environment fully expresses Hacienda Copey's unique terroir and has unique flavor characteristics.

We cultivate varieties suited to the Costa Rican environment, including Geisha, which requires delicate and advanced cultivation techniques, as well as Red Catuai, Yellow Catuai, Villasarch, and Villalobos.
In the production process, in addition to the traditional Costa Rican honey process, we also use natural processes with a low environmental impact and the innovative anaerobic process, creating innovative flavors while being environmentally conscious.
