Daterra Coffee is located in Patrocinho, a top coffee-producing region in Brazil, a major coffee-producing country. Owning a vast 6,618 hectares of land, the farm continues to produce cutting-edge coffee through experimental endeavors using cutting-edge technology. Daterra, which means "From the earth" in Portuguese, was founded in the 1980s. The farm's owner, Luis Pascoal, initially focused on fruit production and cattle raising, but later became fascinated with coffee and began cultivating it. His passion for coffee and approach to his farm were so remarkable that they had a major impact on the Brazilian coffee industry.

With the slogan "Growing Relationship Coffee," they established their own environmental standards even before the word "sustainability" was widely recognized, focusing on regenerating the land while protecting the ecosystem and soil. As a result, they have succeeded in creating the optimal environment for growing high-quality coffee.

The greatest feature of Daterra Farm is its experimentation and research using the latest technology. In order to accurately grasp every inch of the vast land, it is divided into mini-farms of 5 to 15 hectares, and each small-scale farm is managed using GPS. The history, soil condition, and rainfall of each of the 216 plots can be instantly tracked. Furthermore, with the constant aim of producing cutting-edge coffee, the farm is working on improving varieties and new production processes (from coffee cherries to green beans). Handling over 100 varieties, including original varieties, and using a variety of production processes, including experimental ones, the farm continues to produce cutting-edge coffee beans around the world.
