FLAVOR PROFILE
Bright and elegant aromas reminiscent of jasmine and lavender unfold in the cup. On the palate, juicy orange and tangerine-like fruit flavors come through with a gentle sweetness. Rather than being sharp or pronounced, the acidity expresses itself as a refreshing citrus quality, beautifully balanced by refined sweetness reminiscent of honey and delicate caramel.
The texture is silky and smooth, with enough body to feel rounded and satisfying. The finish remains clean and lingering, with floral notes reminiscent of jasmine tea and a sweetness reminiscent of orange honey.

A Note from the Online Shop Manager KOTOWA is one of Panama’s renowned coffee farms, with a history spanning more than 100 years. This coffee has the elegant and delicate character you would expect from a Geisha processed as a washed coffee, combined with sweet, juicy orange-like fruit flavors. It has a beautiful floral character while maintaining a clean, refreshing finish. I think this wonderful balance is one of the things that makes this coffee so special. The texture is also incredibly smooth, making it a cup you can enjoy comfortably from the first sip to the very last. |

Kotowa Estate is one of the most prestigious farms in the Boquete region of Panama, boasting a history of over 100 years.
The current owner, Ricardo Koyner, served as the first president of the Specialty Coffee Association of Panama and has returned to the position in preparation for the World of Coffee (WOC) to be held in Panama in 2026.

Within the farm, old hydraulic mills and drying facilities are preserved and exhibited like a museum, creating an environment where you can feel its long history firsthand.
It is also known as a farm that has grown alongside the local community, having been recognized by the Panamanian government for its contributions to environmental conservation and social outreach.
Today, each family member is involved in the farm's operations, utilizing their individual expertise.
Their daughter, Victoria, is in charge of quality control and is deeply involved in improving coffee quality, even drawing on her own experience as a barista competition participant.
Meanwhile, their son, Juan José, manages "Kotowa Coffee," which operates 35 locations across Panama.

At Finca Kotowa, where Victoria continues to lead efforts to improve quality, they achieve an incredibly high level of perfection not only with the Geisha variety, but with all other varieties as well.
Kotowa's coffee is characterized by a transparent, clean flavor profile and a refined, elegant impression. While cherishing the traditions cultivated over their long history, this is a farm that continues to reach for even greater heights by embracing new perspectives.
